This year, we will continue the acquisition of Spanish language and the exploration of Spanish-speaking cultures, through review, practice, and further development of the students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Following a communicative approach, we will focus on building vocabulary and learning basic grammar principals necessary to effectively communicate. Students will also be introduced to the geography and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world through different written and oral assignments. The course will be interactive, and will listen to a variety of native accents through songs, games, skits, and special projects.
